Seung Chul Lee appeared on KBS2’s ’What Song Express’ and revealed a special connection with Girls’ Generation. On this episode, Seung Chul Lee and Girls’ Generation Sunny had a conversation together. Seung Chul Lee shared behind-the-scenes stories about the selection process of Girls’ Generation’s group name and debut song. He recalled receiving a call directly from Lee Soo-man at the time, who asked, ″A girl group is coming out, how about naming it Girls’ Generation?″ to which he replied, ″Sure.″ When Lee Soo-man suggested, ″We are planning to do the song ’Girls’ Generation’ as well,″ he gave the same answer. He added that he was asked to join the chorus for the debut song. In fact, Girls’ Generation remade Seung Chul Lee’s hit song ’Girls’ Generation’ when they debuted in 2007.
