IVE, October 26 confirmed for the comeback of the new mini-album 'Lux Can Kill'

IVE (IVE, An Yujin, Leeseo, Rei, Jang Wonyoung) is making a comeback with a new mini-album after about eight months. Starship Entertainment, the agency, released a promotion teaser and coming soon video for the mini-album ″Looks Can Kill″ on its official SNS channels on the 28th. The video featured projection mapping on the exterior walls of a high-rise building in the city, displaying the new album logo along with the phrase ″IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19,″ and attracted attention with stylish scenes of Seoul’s landscapes and landmarks. IVE will release a pre-release track on October 19, followed by the full mini-album ″Looks Can Kill″ on the 26th. This album is the group’s first new release in about eight months since their second full album ″REVIVE+″ in February. During the promotion of their second full album, IVE achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK) on major domestic music charts with the title track ″BANG BANG,″ marking the team’s sixth all-kill record. In addition, ″BANG BANG″ and the album track ″BLACKHOLE″ won nine music show trophies, bringing their total to 83 wins since debut. ″BANG BANG″ also entered overseas charts such as the US Billboard Global 200 and has remained in the top ranks of major charts even eight months after its release. After the promotion of their second full album, IVE held their second world tour ″SHOW WHAT I AM,″ meeting local fans in eight cities across Asia and North America, including Seoul, Tokyo Dome, and Kyocera Dome. Debuting in 2021, IVE has released numerous hit songs such as ″ELEVEN,″ ″LOVE DIVE,″ ″I AM,″ and ″AFTER LIKE.″ The team name ″IVE″ is an abbreviation of ″I HAVE,″ meaning ″We will confidently show everything we have.″
