TXT cancels New York concert due to bad weather... replaces with 'Global Citizen' via practice room live broadcast

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, HUENING KAI) met with fans through a live broadcast from the practice room after the ’2026 Global Citizen Festival’ scheduled to be held at Central Park in New York, USA, was canceled due to bad weather. At 9 a.m. on the 27th, the day after the festival was canceled, they presented a prepared stage from the practice room via Weverse live streaming. Tomorrow X Together (TXT) was scheduled to perform the opening stage as the only Korean artist and delivered the performance to fans worldwide through quick action. The choreography team, who had prepared the festival stage together, also participated in the practice room live. The members’ fundamentals were revealed through intense choreography and unwavering live performance in front of a fixed camera. They showed the prepared stage setup as it was, without any fancy stage equipment or sound devices. The broadcast featured various stages including ’You and I Found in the Sky at 5:53’, ’0X1=LOVESONG’, and a cover of a Justin Bieber song. They also performed a Korean traditional music version of ’Sugar Rush Ride’ with costumes incorporating hanbok and traditional Korean colors. Yeonjun revealed his solo songs ’Talk to You’, ’Ice Cream’, and a cover of a Post Malone song. Tomorrow X Together (TXT) said, ″We prepared hard, and it was disappointing not to show it, so we rented the practice room. Only the space changed, but everything was properly set up. As long as there is music and a microphone, we can work hard anywhere.″ At the end of the broadcast, a surprise comeback spoiler video containing the phrase ’We need something different from before’ was revealed. Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) will start their world tour ’STEAL THE WIND’ at KSPO DOME, Olympic Park, Seoul, from November 13 to 15, and continue touring in North America, Europe, and other regions.
