BTS member V has officially entered the consumer technology world as the new global brand ambassador for Nothing.
The British technology company announced that V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, will front the launch campaign for its new Headphone (1) Pro. Photographed in Seoul by Dorothea Sing Zhang, the campaign presents the K-pop star as the face of a product built around sound, design and creative experimentation.
The partnership gives V another major global campaign while placing him at the center of Nothing’s expansion into premium audio.
“I’m excited to be part of this bold new chapter with Nothing,” V said. He described the Headphone (1) Pro as a design rooted in creative expression and expressed excitement about the partnership’s future.

Nothing co-founder and CEO Carl Pei connected the appointment directly to V’s willingness to explore new creative territory.
“V has an instinct for fearless experimentation,” Pei said, praising the artist for pursuing different sounds and styles instead of relying on familiar formulas.
The choice reflects how Nothing wants to position its new headphones. Rather than marketing the Headphone (1) Pro as a conventional lifestyle accessory, the company is presenting it as a tool for listeners, producers and creators who value both technical performance and distinctive design.
V fits that message particularly well. His work with BTS has introduced him to a vast international audience, while his solo music has allowed him to explore a more personal sound shaped by R&B, soul, pop and jazz influences.
His influence also extends beyond music. Fashion, photography and visual storytelling have become significant parts of V’s public identity, making him a natural match for a company that treats consumer technology as a form of cultural and industrial design.
Nothing describes the Headphone (1) Pro as its most advanced audio product so far.
Its triple-driver system separates different parts of the sound spectrum across three components: a 40-mm dynamic driver for bass, a precision dynamic driver and an xMEMS driver designed for high-frequency detail. The headphones cover a reported frequency range of 20Hz to 40kHz.
Nothing also collaborated with engineers at London’s Metropolis Studios on the product’s audio tuning. A dedicated Flat EQ setting provides a more neutral sound profile intended for producers, musicians and users who want to hear recordings with less added coloration.
Other major specifications include:
The adaptive noise-cancellation system is designed to respond to changing surroundings in real time, including difficult environments involving wind, traffic and other unpredictable noise.
The Headphone (1) Pro goes on sale on September 29 through Nothing’s website, Amazon and Best Buy stores across North America. Availability and pricing may vary by market.

The decision to photograph V in Seoul gives the campaign a clear connection to his identity while emphasizing South Korea’s growing importance to global fashion, entertainment and technology marketing.
It also shows how technology companies are increasingly choosing musicians as long-term creative partners rather than using them solely for conventional celebrity endorsements.
Nothing has already tested this approach with Charli xcx, who joined the company as a global ambassador and investor. Her campaign for the more affordable Headphone (a) reportedly helped the model sell out across the United Kingdom and Western Europe within 48 hours.
V now brings a different level of international fan engagement to Nothing’s premium audio category. His appointment has the potential to introduce the relatively young brand to consumers who may know his music and style but have not previously considered a Nothing product.
That exposure could be especially valuable as the company competes with established names in the premium headphone market.
Founded in London in 2020, Nothing has built its identity around transparent design, visible engineering and products that challenge the increasingly similar appearance of mainstream consumer technology.
The company says its global community has grown beyond six million people, with products now available across more than 60 countries. Its portfolio includes smartphones, wireless earbuds, over-ear headphones and software tools.
V’s appointment supports Nothing’s effort to connect technology with music, fashion, art and design. It also moves him into a product category closely connected to his primary profession.
For fans, the campaign offers a new visual project featuring V. For Nothing, it provides a globally recognized artist whose creative identity closely matches the brand’s message.
The result is a partnership built around more than visibility. Nothing is selling its most ambitious headphones through an artist known for following his own taste, while V becomes the face of a technology brand that has made experimentation its central promise.
