Aori revealed that she has checked all the past of her boyfriend, Korean medicine doctor Kim Hyung-bae. Recently, Aori invited Kim Hyung-bae, with whom she started a public relationship, to her YouTube channel, where they asked each other questions. The two honestly shared how they became close from their first meeting and about their dating process. Regarding the reason for going public with their relationship, Aori explained that her boyfriend enjoys helping with YouTube filming. Aori said, ″We went to Geoje Island to film together, but since I couldn’t reveal my boyfriend, I did it roughly, and he felt a bit disappointed.″ Kim Hyung-bae added, ″I was confident that we wouldn’t break up.″ When asked, ″You have been divorced once; wasn’t that a hurdle?″ Kim Hyung-bae replied, ″Honestly, I never thought about dating a divorced woman. I had never even considered it. But it was okay. I took it as having had a serious relationship once.″ When Kim Hyung-bae was asked about concerns regarding their public relationship, Aori said, ″Before going public, I asked if there was anything wrong in the past. I checked for school violence, delinquency, crimes, cheating history, and so on. I also thought that more verification would happen during the public relationship.″
