BOYNEXTDOOR revealed various episodes and behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of the ″ANIMAL″ music video. The shoot took place in Daejeon, and the members appeared in simple outfits and natural hairstyles. The outfits were divided into two versions: a clean version and a dirty version with mud stains, and the hairstyles were intentionally styled to look slightly messy. The members actually did not use any styling products on their hair, opting for a natural look. On set, the members mentioned that they are from Busan and shared the difficulties they experienced during filming, encouraging each other. During the shoot, they used fake tattoos to attempt an image transformation, explaining that these tattoos were chosen to give a strong image that fits the concept. The tattoos were not real and could be easily removed, and they stated that unless the tattoo has a meaningful significance, they have no intention of getting a real one. In line with the music video concept, the members transformed into beast-like figures roaming the city. The dirty outfits and wild performances were described as closer to beasts rather than animals. Dynamic scenes continued during filming, including wire work to hang in the air, running, and jumping. The members supported each other during the shoot, exchanging cheerful jokes and leading the atmosphere. After the filming ended, they expressed satisfaction, saying, ″We hope it turns out well, considering all the hard work.″ One member shared that this music video is likely to be their favorite among all they have filmed so far.
