"Fly Up, Butterfly," 1% ratings for three consecutive episodes... Ok Gippeum and Park Mu-yeol start dating in episode 5

JTBC weekend drama ’Fly, Butterfly’ recorded ratings in the 1% range for three consecutive episodes, while the romance between Kim Hyang-gi and PARK JEONG WOO began to unfold in earnest. In episode 5, Oh Gi-ppeum (Kim Hyang-gi) experienced confusion about her relationship with Park Mu-yeol (PARK JEONG WOO). Park Mu-yeol worried about Oh Gi-ppeum, who had visited the emergency room due to nutritional deficiency, and went to her goshiwon to deliver food and herbal medicine prepared at home. When Oh Gi-ppeum asked why, Park Mu-yeol replied, ″comradeship,″ but added, ″It’s not that I dislike Gi-ppeum,″ leaving room for interpretation. When the goshiwon owner appeared, a scene showed Park Mu-yeol wearing a long-haired wig and running away. Afterward, Oh Gi-ppeum asked Jen (Shim Eun-woo) for dating advice, pretending to talk about a friend. Jen knew that Oh Gi-ppeum’s crush was Park Mu-yeol and was confident about his feelings. The hair salon coworkers interpreted Park Mu-yeol’s behavior as ″stringing along″ and gave Oh Gi-ppeum a warning. Su-ri (Kim Ga-hee) said, ″That guy’s a playboy, right? That’s it, stringing along. Guys like that are the worst.″ Teacher Woo (Moon Tae-yoo) offered the opinion, ″It’s either because he likes her and wants to fill a void, or because he feels sorry and wants to fill a void.″ Park Mu-yeol honestly confessed his feelings to Oh Gi-ppeum. He admitted, ″I started to like Gi-ppeum, but we missed each other,″ and Oh Gi-ppeum also revealed that she still liked him. When Park Mu-yeol asked, ″Then will you go out with me?″ their secret romance began. Meanwhile, Jen smiled upon learning that Ahn Kwang-soo (Choi Daniel) had rejected his ex-girlfriend’s proposal to reconcile, and curiosity deepened as it was revealed that Teacher Woo’s real name is Woo Sang-hee. A scene also showed the hair salon members feeling hurt when no one came to their table at Hunting Pocha. ’Fly, Butterfly’ was completed in 2021 and aired about five years later. The rating for episode 5 was recorded at 1.6% nationwide according to Nielsen Korea.
