The group NMIXX will release their sixth mini-album, ″Strange Muse,″ on the 19th. This album includes a total of six tracks: the title song ″Long Wish (Birthday Wish),″ ″Kerosene,″ ″RudE TaLK,″ ″You Are the Moon (Sing to the Moon) (Lily, Haewon),″ ″Hot and Unbothered (Seolyun, Bay),″ and ″Whisk (Whip) (Jiwoo, Kyujin).″ NMIXX revealed that this album features unit songs by members for the first time since their debut, with members directly participating in writing and composing. Their first full-length album released last October, ″Blue Valentine,″ topped Melon’s Top 100, Hot 100, daily, weekly, and monthly charts for the first time since their debut with its title track of the same name. They also won a total of 10 awards on music shows such as M Countdown, Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo. Following that, the title track of their fifth mini-album, ″Heavy Serenade,″ released last May, also ranked first on Melon Hot 100, the latest charts, and Bugs real-time charts, and achieved first place on M Countdown and Show! Music Core. NMIXX is presenting this new release after consecutively succeeding with ″Blue Valentine″ and ″Heavy Serenade″ last year, with music that adds accessibility to the mix-pop genre.
