Seventeen, 5 albums and 56 performances in one year... Minimizing gaps with member units and solos

Seventeen is minimizing the gap in team activities during the members’ military service periods through unit and solo activities. Over the past year, Seventeen has released five albums and seven digital singles through group, unit, and solo activities. During this period, they performed a total of 56 stages including world tours, fan meetings, unit, and solo concerts. Member activities continue this year as well. Dokyeom and Seungkwan released a unit album in January, and in June, THE 8 and Vernon released a new album under the name V8. In August, Dino released a solo album, and Jun released his first Chinese solo EP ’9’ on the 28th of last month. Jeonghan and Joshua are scheduled to release their first mini-album ’DREAMSCAPE’ on the 19th. This album contains the two meanings of ’dream’: unconscious fantasies experienced while asleep and dreams they want to achieve in reality. Along with the album release, the two will embark on a tour titled ’JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING]’ across six cities domestically and internationally. Performances have also continued by filling the periods without group activities with unit and solo stages. In the first half of this year, there were several unit concerts, and Dino will perform in Macau from the 9th to the 11th following his August concert in Seoul. Jeonghan and Joshua are also preparing separate tours. Album activities have expanded into performances, with ’CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY’ from January to April, ’DxS [SERENADE] ON STAGE’ from April to July, and ’THE 8 and Vernon’s 2026 VERNON THE 8 [V8] LIVE’ held in July. Jun is pursuing both music and acting mainly in China. His first Chinese solo EP ’9’, released on the 28th of last month, is themed around a ’cat with nine tails,’ and the music video for the title track of the same name ranked number one on the popular video chart of the Chinese video platform Bilibili. This music video also entered the daily popular music video charts on YouTube in Korea, Singapore, Finland, and other countries as of September 28th. The movie ’Zhongsheng 2’ starring Jun was released in mainland China on the 3rd. Outside of the stage, their own content ’Going Seventeen’ is being steadily released. This season includes the first episode set against a mudflat background, ’Red Ball,’ a psychological game for prize money, ’Happiness of 12,317 Won,’ a reinterpretation of classic variety shows, and the popular series ’Don’t Lie.’ While strengthening individual member activities in music and performances, they continue team-based activities through their own content. Pledis Entertainment stated, ″Seventeen is showcasing the individual capabilities of each member through various unit and solo activities while expanding the team’s musical spectrum.″
