It is scheduled to be broadcast in the first half of 2027.A household investigator is a special public official who directly investigates cases handled by the family court, such as divorce, adoption, guardianship, child abuse, and juvenile delinquency, and identifies the facts. Accordingly, the work examines the family conflicts hidden within the space called 'home' from the perspective of a household investigator and depicts the process of restoring broken relationships.Lee Bo-young plays Hong Mal-geum, a household investigator raising three children alone. Hong Mal-geum, who struggled to make a living after her divorce, passes the exam to become a trainee household investigator based on her psychology major, which she couldn't fully utilize after marrying at a young age.Having grown up in a divorced family and having experienced divorce herself, Hong Mal-geum is a person with an extraordinary sense of justice and courage. Above all, she is determined to keep her public official position, which guarantees her tenure, in order to build a stable family with her three children. However, with each case she faces, she transforms into a character who charges head-on like a rhinoceros.Kang Tae-oh transforms into Charles Kim, a lawyer boasting a 100% win rate. He is a character who has no qualms about chasing money and possesses a luxurious appearance, including luxury goods and supercars, as well as a bold attitude. Although he is not well-regarded by his fellow lawyers, he has the skills to lead lawsuits to victory. For Charles Kim, the honor or sense of duty of a legal professional is not a priority. He is a gambler who moves solely for money, turning even seemingly lost cases into victories. In particular, he played a role in helping Hong Mal-geum's ex-husband, who had moved on to another woman, to drive Hong Mal-geum out of the house without any alimony, as he represented Hong Mal-geum's ex-husband.How the two will clash in the drama is also a point of interest. Hong Mal-geum, who seeks clues to truth and reconciliation by looking into family conflicts, and Charles Kim, who will stop at nothing for victory, are expected to create a tense confrontation by approaching cases in different ways. The production team said, "The meeting of Lee Bo-young and Kang Tae-oh is more than reassuring in itself. Hong Mal-geum and Charles Kim, as depicted by the two actors, will exceed viewers' expectations," and added, "The cheerful energy created by the clash of these two strong characters, the unpredictable events, and the various family episodes contained within will unfold without a moment's rest." They continued, "We will come to you with a work that makes you laugh heartily and then deeply touches your heart at some point, making you look forward to the next story."'Divorce Investigator Hong Mal-geum', planned for a total of 12 episodes, will be broadcast on ENA in the first half of 2027 and will be available on Genie TV.sstar1204@tf.co.kr[Entertainment Department | ssent@tf.co.kr]
