TOP's first solo exhibition 'OFF GRID: NEW GROUND' canceled... only 15% of reservations made

A fan exhibition planned to commemorate the first solo full-length album of Big Bang’s singer and actor T.O.P has been canceled. T.O.P’s domestic fan page, ChoiSeungHyun.com, announced on the 4th through its official website and social media that the ″OFF GRID: NEW GROUND″ exhibition, scheduled from October 31 to November 1, has been canceled. The fan page explained that although the venue rental contract and payment had already been completed, the number of reservations was only about 25% of the initially prepared 300 people, and following cancellation requests from existing registrants, the final expected attendance per day dropped to around 10-15%. Accordingly, they decided to cancel the event, judging that normal operation would be difficult. Full refunds will be issued to those who had made reservations. This exhibition was inspired by T.O.P’s first solo full-length album, ″ANOTHER DIMENSION,″ and was designed to reinterpret the 11 tracks on the album into different concepts and spaces for fans to experience directly. The fan page stated that considering T.O.P’s tour schedule this year and various fan circumstances, the event was prepared on a smaller scale than in previous years. On the 2nd, T.O.P officially confirmed his relationship with Nana, an actress and former member of After School. The two met during the filming of the music video for T.O.P’s solo album title track, ″Doom Dada,″ and their relationship developed into a romantic one in June. After the news of their relationship became public, Nana expressed through a fan communication platform that fans might have been surprised by the sudden news, saying, ″I’m a little embarrassed too,″ and added, ″We will meet beautifully and healthily.″ Regarding the exhibition cancellation, the fan page said, ″Since this exhibition was prepared over a long time, this decision is very disappointing and heavy-hearted for us as well,″ and sincerely apologized to everyone who had made reservations and was looking forward to the exhibition. Although some have mentioned a possible connection between the cancellation and the public announcement of T.O.P and Nana’s relationship, the fan page did not disclose specific reasons for the reservation cancellations. Meanwhile, T.O.P is scheduled to continue his concert tour, ″T.O.P PRE-STUDIO 2026,″ until December 19.
