BTS appears on 'BTS-daero' to commemorate their first performance in Peru... Temporary sign installed in Surco

A road named after the group BTS was temporarily designated for one week in Lima, Peru. The Santiago de Surco district named Sacramento Street in the Surco area ’Avenida BTS’ from October 5 to 11 and installed signs to announce it. This event was part of the ’Road To 7’ project promoted by the local BTS fan club ’BTS Perú’ to commemorate BTS’s first concert in Peru. BTS will hold their world tour ’ARIRANG’ concerts at Estadio San Marcos in Lima on the 7th and from the 9th to the 10th. This is their first performance in Peru since their debut in 2013. Earlier, on the 2nd and 3rd, they began their South American tour at Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, Colombia, attracting about 100,000 spectators. Various events welcoming BTS were also held throughout downtown Lima. The Arco Morisco, a landmark structure in Surco Friendship Park, was decorated with purple lights symbolizing BTS from the 5th to the 11th, with special light shows every day. At the Fountain Park’s Fantasy Fountain, a BTS-themed event using music, lighting, and water screens was held during the same period. ’Avenida BTS’ is located near 8 blocks of Las Nazarenas Street in Santiago de Surco and is being used as a place where fans can take commemorative photos. The official Peruvian tourism site ’Peru Travel’ introduced that BTS’s Lima concert would provide overseas visitors with opportunities to experience Peru’s food, culture, and natural scenery. It also mentioned the possibility of fans visiting other tourist destinations such as Paracas and Machu Picchu after attending the concert in Lima. Meanwhile, on the 6th, BTS released ’Run BTS 2.0,’ enjoying an autumn picnic in Toronto during their world tour, through the team’s official YouTube channel and the fan platform Weverse. Spanish media Rolling Stone en aespan described the Colombia concert as ″the concert an entire generation has been waiting for the most,″ stating, ″BTS always met expectations and even showed more than that.″
