Director Kim Da-min, Han Jun-hee, the chief producer, and actors Kim Min-ha and Choi Hyun-wook attended and shared various stories about the work. The protagonist, Lee Jae-wook, was unable to attend the event due to his current military service, but he appeared in the audience at the end of the open talk. He briefly took the stage and said, "I am serving well in the military. I apologize for not being able to be here," and "I hope you enjoy it."'Honey Job' tells the story of a young man, Hyuk-joon (played by Lee Jae-wook), who is deployed to a nightmarish work environment at a strange employment agency that only introduces 'honey jobs' starting at 50 times the hourly wage. It depicts a work environment never seen before by adding horror, fantasy, and black comedy to realistic livelihood-related themes.Director Kim Da-min first shared her feelings after the first screening held the previous day. She said, "Even though I watched the work countless times while editing, it was a new experience to watch it with the audience," and "It was a great experience to feel the audience's reactions directly."This work is also the first series directed by Kim Da-min, who gained attention for the film 'Makgeolli Shall Tell You.' Director Kim said, "My debut film was an independent film with less than 30 shooting days, but a series physically has many times more shooting days, which was difficult," and "After overcoming that hurdle, I saw the fun and learning points. I took on new challenges, and the process of gathering ideas was also enjoyable."'Honey Job' also left a strong impression on Han Jun-hee, the chief producer, who encountered the work for the first time. He said, "I was shocked when I first read the script given by the writer," and "I felt the ambition to create such a story as a series." He added, "The director kindly explained it so that many people could understand it, but the story itself is profound. However, the way it's told is light," explaining the unique charm of 'Honey Job.'Director Kim Da-min, actors Choi Hyun-wook, Kim Min-ha, and chief producer Han Jun-hee (from left) pose at the 'Honey Job' open talk event held at the Busan Cinema Center's Roof Theater in Haeundae-gu, Busan on the afternoon of the 8th. /Busan=Reporter Park Heon-wooKim Min-ha plays Ji-yoon, Hyuk-joon's younger sister, for whom poverty is scarier than ghosts. After watching the completed work, she said, "When I first saw it, I was so scared and surprised that I covered my eyes with my hands," and "I was curious how the things I had imagined for the past few months would be realized, and I was grateful that it was depicted with such high quality and tension."Ji-yoon is a character who views the situation with a realistic perspective even amidst fantastical events. Kim Min-ha explained, "Ji-yoon is the most normal person in this work. I thought she was a child who loved her family so much that she could endure because of them," and "She is so realistic that she finds her brother Hyuk-joon frustrating. She was attractive because she is a character who makes the fantastical elements of the work more realistic."The reason for choosing the work was also special. Kim Min-ha said, "The script for 'Honey Job' was different from anything I had seen before, so I really wanted to do it," and "I was filming 'Taepung Sangsa' at the time, but Director Han Jun-hee said he would adjust the schedule for me. I was so touched and grateful that he seemed to discover a new side of me."Regarding Kim Min-ha's casting, chief producer Han Jun-hee said, "She is the opposite of Sunja in 'Pachinko,' so I thought she would be curious because she had never played such a role," and "I thought about actors who would be a good fit while having the most conversations with the director."Kim Min-ha and Lee Jae-wook are expected to show off their chemistry as realistic siblings in the drama. Kim Min-ha said, "I naturally became close with actor Jae-wook on set. I was grateful that he treated me so comfortably," and "I think many fun scenes were created," raising expectations.Director Kim Da-min, chief producer Han Jun-hee, and actors Kim Min-ha and Choi Hyun-wook (from left) attend the 'Honey Job' open talk event held at the Busan Cinema Center's Roof Theater in Haeundae-gu, Busan on the afternoon of the 8th. /Busan=Reporter Park Heon-wooThe casting behind Choi Hyun-wook, who opens the work, was also revealed. I think it's because the reliable directors are here."Chief producer Han Jun-hee said with a laugh, "I asked Choi Hyun-wook if he could just appear three times.
