Director Bong Joon-ho's first animated film 'Elly' to be released in July next year

It is Bong Joon-ho's first feature-length animation, inspired by real marine life.'ALLY' depicts how encounters between humans and deep-sea creatures change both worlds, with themes of friendship and courage. It follows the adventures of the protagonist baby pig squid 'Ally', who dreams of seeing the sun and appearing on TV, and her friends, when an unidentified aircraft crashes into the sea one day.The production team is also star-studded. Yoo Jae-sun, director of 'Sleep', participated as a co-writer, and the voice cast includes Alex Jayne Go, Ayo Edebiri, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Finn Wolfhard, Rachel House, and Werner Herzog.Kim Jae-hyung, who worked on 'Toy Story 4' and 'Inside Out', served as animation supervisor, and Marcin Jakubowski from 'Klaus' took on the role of production designer. Additionally, David Lipman from the 'Shrek' series participated in the production team, and Studio DENEK, which was responsible for the visual effects (VFX) of 'Inception' and 'Dune', also joined.'ALLY' will also be released in France on July 14th of next year.
