BTS RM, requests fans to refrain from camping in front of the hotel during South America tour

BTS leader RM requested fans to refrain from gathering in front of the hotel during their South America tour, as the members and staff are unable to sleep due to the fans. On Wednesday, the day of the first concert held at San Marcos Stadium in Lima, Peru, RM posted on the fan platform Weverse explaining the situation. He said, ″Because people are staying in front of the hotel where we are staying all day, the members and staff are really struggling,″ and added, ″The noise reaches our rooms, and no one can sleep well.″ RM began his post by saying, ″This is my first time in Peru, and I am really excited and happy.″ He then mentioned that the crowd gathered at the hotel is also causing inconvenience to other guests. He stated, ″It is causing great discomfort to other guests staying at the same hotel,″ and continued, ″We appreciate your warm welcome and passion, but if we cannot rest enough, it will affect the performance.″ RM emphasized that this request applies not only to Lima but also to other South American countries such as Chile, Brazil, and Argentina, as well as several Asian countries where the tour will continue. He urged, ″Please do not continue to stay in front of the hotel not only in Lima but also in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, and the various Asian countries we will visit later.″ Additionally, RM made a direct appeal to BTS’s fan club ARMY. He said, ″I believe ARMY, the most amazing fans in the world, will understand this request,″ and added, ″I hope we can build a more mature relationship that we can all be proud of.″ At the end of the post, he thanked the fans, saying, ″I will show you the best stage at today’s concert,″ and added in Spanish, ″Los amo″ (I love you all). BTS started their ’Arirang’ world tour in April. After two more performances in Lima on Friday and Saturday, they will continue with concerts in Santiago (Chile) from Wednesday until October 17, Buenos Aires (Argentina) from October 21 to 24, and São Paulo (Brazil) on October 28, 30, and 31.
