Nam Chang-hee is going to become a father. Nam Chang-hee’s wife, Yoon Young-kyung, is 23 weeks pregnant and is expected to give birth in February next year. The couple announced the pregnancy of their first child eight months after their wedding ceremony in February. Yoon Young-kyung recently resigned from her position as a public relations officer at Dongdaemun-gu Office in Seoul, where she had worked for six years. On the 1st, she shared a cake commemorating her resignation on her Instagram, writing, ″I leave for a new world carrying only good memories.″ Yoon Young-kyung plans to focus on prenatal care and preparing for childbirth for the time being. Nam Chang-hee and Yoon Young-kyung got married on February 22 at the Shilla Hotel Dynasty Hall in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, after dating for about four years and six months. Nam Chang-hee was born in 1982, and Yoon Young-kyung was born in 1991, making them nine years apart. Yoon Young-kyung gained recognition after being selected as a runner-up at the 83rd National Chunhyang Selection Contest in 2013 and has appeared in various works such as the movie International Market and dramas like Wook’s Men, Hwajeong, and others. In 2014, she attracted attention as ″Hangang IU″ in the ″Hongcheol, Let’s Get Married″ special of Muhan Dojeon. Nam Chang-hee debuted in 2000 with SBS’s Happy Our Saturday and has been active in variety shows such as Radio Star and Hangout with Yoo, as well as dramas including The Rustic Period, My Love from the Star, and Mr. Sunshine.
