BTS Jimin Birthday, abundant advertising, donation, and lighting events in 6 Japanese cities

To celebrate BTS’s Jimin’s birthday, Japanese fans held various celebratory events. The fanbase ’PARKJIMIN JAPAN’ showcased advertisements in major Japanese cities such as Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, and Fukuoka to commemorate Jimin’s birthday. Advertisements were broadcast on October 13 on the Sapporo Hiroshi Vision and Nagoya Hisaya Central Vision, from the 12th to the 13th on Tokyo Shinjuku Unika Vision, and from the 11th to the 13th on Fukuoka Hakata Dontaku Vision. On the Dotonbori River in Osaka, an LED ad cruise operated from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM on the 11th, and a photo session was held in front of the Glico sign. Near Osaka Dotonbori, the ’JIMTOBER Lemonade Stand’ was set up, with proceeds from lemonade sales donated to ’Child Kemo House,’ a lodging facility for families of children with cancer. This event was inspired by fan donations following Jimin’s encouragement of a young fan battling pediatric cancer at his Texas concert. In Kobe, three locations—the Port Tower, Meriken Park, and the Maritime Museum—were illuminated with yellow lights. This was the first time these facilities lit up in honor of BTS members. The individual fan group ’TEAM MOCHI JIMIN JP’ ran advertisements at the taxi stand in front of the HYBE building in Yongsan throughout October, and digital signage ads in the Hongdae Entrance Station transfer passage from the 8th to the 14th. ’JIMINPENNO HEYA’ and ’BLACK N WHITE’ organized advertisements and birthday events in Tokyo and Shizuoka, and the Sapporo TV Tower was also lit in yellow on the 13th.
