Broadcaster Kim Da-young, a former announcer, announced her pregnancy news ahead of childbirth. On the 11th, Kim Da-young posted several photos on her SNS along with the caption, ″A look back at the past eight months of pregnancy on the occasion of Pregnant Women’s Day.″ The photos included daily life with her husband Bae Sung-jae, scenes from domestic and international trips, and fetal ultrasound images. Kim Da-young described the pregnancy period as both a ″pregnancy record″ and a ″prenatal travel record.″ Kim Da-young shared updates about visiting various places such as Gyeongju, Yangyang, Yangpyeong, Busan, and Hong Kong during her pregnancy. Specifically, she visited Yangyang at 16 weeks, Yangpyeong at 18 weeks, Hong Kong at 21 weeks, and Busan at 23 weeks. She also traveled to several domestic cities including Jeonju and Daejeon. In Daejeon, she visited according to Bae Sung-jae’s broadcasting schedule and revealed her experience of purchasing bread without waiting by showing her pregnant woman badge at Seongsimdang. Among the released photos were images showing her protruding belly in a pink swimsuit, a selfie with her husband Bae Sung-jae with their faces close together, and a photo taken among large teddy bears. Kim Da-young added the comment ″It also looks like a water balloon″ to the swimsuit photo. She revealed that the fetus’s nickname is ″Dabong.″ Thinking of the baby who will greet her parents for the first time, Kim Da-young also wrote, ″Baby, you are extraordinary.″ Meanwhile, Kim Da-young and Bae Sung-jae married last May after dating for over two years and announced the pregnancy about a year after their wedding. The two were senior and junior announcers at SBS; Bae Sung-jae left SBS in February 2021, and Kim Da-young joined SBS as an experienced announcer in August of the same year, so they never worked together. It is known that the couple met through the show ″Gol Ttaerineun Geunyeodeul.″ The couple is expecting their first child this December.
