Kim Yong Bin "Only know trot"... '1 Night 2 Days' and 'Infinite Challenge' are also unfamiliar

Trot singer Kim Yong Bin made his first appearance on KBS 2TV’s ″The Manager Has Donkey Ears,″ revealing his lifelong dedication to trot and his low interest in popular culture. Before his new song stage, Kim Yong Bin held a meeting at his agency’s office and mentioned that his first performance would be at ″Open Concert″ held at Kookmin University. When the agency representative suggested DAY6’s ″You Were Pretty″ as an encore song, Kim Yong Bin showed unfamiliarity with the song. However, when the chorus of ″You Were Pretty″ played, he admitted, ″I know this song.″ Kim Yong Bin explained that he grew up listening only to trot and is not familiar with other genres or popular culture. He said he has never watched ″Infinite Challenge″ or ″2 Days & 1 Night″ and does not know the members. When Park Myung-soo asked if he knew the members of ″Infinite Challenge,″ he replied, ″I don’t know. I’ve never watched ’2 Days & 1 Night’ either.″ Lee Soon-sil expressed surprise, saying, ″Even in North Korea, they watch ’2 Days & 1 Night.’ The ratings for ’2 Days & 1 Night’ were all boosted by North Korea.″ Additionally, Kim Yong Bin revealed that he has been active as a trot singer since he was 11 years old, and that fans over their 70s have once gathered by bus for his performances. He shared that although he couldn’t read when he was young, he memorized and sang lyrics immediately after hearing them. The broadcast showed Kim Yong Bin displaying a perfect and meticulous personality, along with staff mentioning his narcissistic remarks such as ″The clothes look good because I pulled them off well.″ Kim Yong Bin reacted embarrassedly, saying, ″I think this was edited wrong. I’m not that kind of person.″
