He plays the role of Jeon Yo-han, whose inner thoughts are unknown, and delivers a passionate performance.'The Final Interview' is a story about six job applicants gathered in the final interview room who fall into suspicion and confusion as they discover mysterious envelopes containing their own confessions. It is based on Akinari Asakura's novel 'Six Liars University Students' and directed by Kim Jeong-hoon, who also directed the films 'The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure' and 'The Accidental Detective'.In the drama, Jeon Yo-han is a character who is accustomed to being alone, maintains a certain distance from people, and pushes his own standards and judgments, creating a sharp atmosphere even in harmonious moments. He, who had treated the final interview task, where applicants' choices determined their success, like a popularity contest, views the situation with utmost rationality once the exposé envelopes appear. Meanwhile, Jeon Yo-han, with his subtly mismatched words and actions after the envelopes are opened, makes the flow of the exposé unpredictable, injecting tension into the drama.Having debuted in KBS2's "The Unexpected You" in 2012, Kwak Dong-yeon, who has now been acting for 15 years, has proven his wide acting spectrum through dramas such as "Love in the Moonlight," "Vincenzo," "Queen of Tears," and "Gaus Electronics," as well as the movie "6/45." Now, he is set to fill the screen with a new face he has never shown before."I've always been very interested in playing characters I haven't challenged before, and I thought Jeon Yo-han was a role that could fulfill that sense of challenge," she explained, "I wanted to portray a character who is good at studying and exceptional, but whose communication is slightly off."Director Kim Jeong-hoon, who helmed the production, raised expectations by saying, "Johan could have easily become a stereotypical eccentric character, but Kwak Dong-yeon breathed unique life into him. He makes the character come alive with a sense of rhythm that freely moves between on-beat and off-beat, and with tremendous charisma."'The Final Interview' will be released on November 4th.[Entertainment Department | ssent@tf.co.kr]jiyoon-1031@tf.co.kr
