BLACKPINK’s Rosé to Perform at LACMA’s 2026 Art+Film Gala

The November 7 fundraiser, co-chaired by Leonardo DiCaprio and Eva Chow, will honor filmmaker Denis Villeneuve and artist Vija Celmins.

Rosé is returning to LACMA’s Art+Film Gala with a new role: this time, she will take the stage.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art announced on October 13 that the BLACKPINK singer will be the musical guest at its 15th annual gala on November 7.

Co-chaired by actor Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow, the event brings together supporters from the worlds of art, cinema, fashion and entertainment. This year’s honorees are artist Vija Celmins and filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, whose credits include the Dune films.

From Red-Carpet Guest to Featured Performer

Rosé previously attended the Art+Film Gala in November 2022, according to Sports Kyunghyang.

That edition honored artist Helen Pashgian and Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook, with Elton John delivering the evening’s special performance.

Four years later, Rosé will return as the announced musical guest, placing her performance at the center of the evening’s entertainment.

The announcement did not disclose her set list or the length of her performance.

Gala Seating Reaches $15,000 Per Person

LACMA’s published fundraising options include individual Platinum seating at $15,000 and Gold seating at $10,000.

A Platinum table for 10 is listed at $125,000.

These prices cover participation in a museum fundraising gala. They are donor seating packages rather than standard tickets for a Rosé concert.

The distinction matters because the musical performance is one part of an evening organized to recognize artists and filmmakers while raising money for LACMA.

Where the Fundraising Proceeds Go

LACMA says the gala supports its efforts to give film a greater role in the museum’s curatorial programming, alongside its broader activities.

The proceeds help fund exhibitions, acquisitions, education and screenings exploring the relationship between art and cinema.

Gucci returns as the event’s presenting supporter, continuing its longstanding association with the gala.

Honoring Vija Celmins and Denis Villeneuve

The 2026 event pairs two honorees working in different forms of visual storytelling.

Celmins is known for meticulously rendered images of natural subjects, including ocean surfaces, desert landscapes and night skies.

Villeneuve’s filmmaking spans works such as Arrival, Blade Runner 2049 and the Dune series.

Their recognition provides the evening’s artistic focus, while Rosé’s performance adds music to the gathering of museum supporters and entertainment figures.

Editor’s Note: A Fundraiser With a History of Major Musical Guests

LACMA’s own records show that the gala’s musical performances sit within a substantial fundraising tradition.

The 2025 event featured Doja Cat, welcomed nearly 600 guests and raised nearly $6.5 million. The museum described that total as a record for the gala.

The 2022 edition, featuring Elton John, raised more than $5.1 million while honoring Helen Pashgian and Park Chan-wook.

Rosé’s appearance continues that pattern of bringing a major recording artist into an event centered on art, film and museum support. Her return as a performer also gives the evening a personal connection to her earlier attendance.
