'Good Partner 2' starring Jang Na-ra and Kim Hyeyoon joins, first broadcast on November 20

The SBS drama ″Good Partner″ returns with Season 2 after two years. Jang Nara reprises her lead role, and Kim Hyeyoon joins the cast as a new member. On the 16th, the team behind SBS’s ″Good Partner 2″ released a teaser poster ahead of the premiere. The poster features Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Nara), who has returned as the lead attorney of the divorce-specialized law firm ″Reborn.″ An empty chair beside her and the phrase ″Looking for a partner to join the second divorce show″ hint at the arrival of a new character. ″Good Partner 2″ tells the story of Cha Eun-kyung, a lead attorney who is a divorce specialist, and Kang Hye-sung (Kim Hyeyoon), an experienced lawyer who becomes her partner. The script is written by writer Choi Yuna, and the director is Seo Min-jung. Actors Park Hae-jin and Pyo Ji-hoon have also joined the cast. In Season 1, which aired in 2024, Jang Nara played Cha Eun-kyung, a star divorce lawyer, and Nam Ji-hyun portrayed Han Yuri, a rookie lawyer. Season 1 realistically dealt with various divorce cases such as infidelity, custody disputes, and alimony conflicts, earning positive responses from viewers. According to Nielsen Korea, ″Good Partner″ recorded a peak household viewership rating of 18.7% in the metropolitan area, with the highest momentary rating surpassing 21% during its broadcast. This made it the highest-rated SBS drama of 2024. Jang Nara won the Grand Prize at the ″2024 SBS Drama Awards.″ Season 2 continues the new story of Cha Eun-kyung, who left the law firm Daejeong and opened her own firm. Instead of Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Hyeyoon joins as Kang Hye-sung, an experienced lawyer, bringing a change to the lead cast. Kim Hyeyoon appears as a lawyer with practical experience. This season focuses on the process of two lawyers, each with their own experience and skills, working together to solve cases. It also highlights the lives and choices of clients continuing after divorce.
