Gary, formerly of the group Leessang, recently shared an update about attending his son Hao’s sports day. Gary and his wife Kim Se-eun posted photos from the event on their respective social media accounts on the 14th, sharing a glimpse of their family life. In the released photos, Gary was seen wearing a black hoodie, a hat, and sunglasses, participating in the sports day alongside other parents. Kim Se-eun added the caption, ″Dad is also participating enthusiastically,″ indicating Gary’s active involvement in the event. Gary himself posted captions like ″Dad squad at the fall sports day″ and ″Overall champion,″ revealing the results of the sports day. Their son Hao wore a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants, looking at the camera with a bright smile and a playful expression. Hao, now nine years old, attracted attention with his grown-up appearance compared to his childhood days on KBS2’s Superman Returns. Gary married Kim Se-eun, a non-celebrity ten years his junior, in April 2017, and they welcomed their son Hao in October of the same year. In 2020, Gary appeared on Superman Returns with Hao, sharing their affectionate father-son daily life. Although he has taken a break from broadcasting for about five years since then, he continues to share family moments regularly through his personal accounts. Meanwhile, on the 19th of last month, Gary also shared photos from a trip to Osaka, Japan, with the caption, ″Pre-Chuseok holiday at Hao’s uncle’s place in Osaka.″ The photos showed the father and son shopping at a supermarket and riding the subway. Gary formed the hip-hop duo Leessang with Gil in 2002, releasing numerous hit songs, and appeared on SBS’s Running Man for about seven years before leaving the program in October 2016.
