Seventeen Jeonghan X Joshua, first unit album 'Dreamscape' released today... Title track 'Twelve O'clock' draws attention

Jeonghan and Joshua of Seventeen will release their first mini album as a unit, ’DREAMSCAPE,’ on the 19th. This album includes a total of seven tracks: the title song ″12 o’ clock,″ ″Like You,″ ″Outside,″ ″One Plus One,″ ″Not Personal,″ ″Coloring,″ and ″No Looking Back.″ Jeonghan resumed activities with this album after completing his alternative military service as a social service agent in June. Through Pledis Entertainment, Jeonghan shared his comeback thoughts, saying, ″Since this is my first album activity after returning, I feel a bit nervous. I want to meet the fans as soon as possible.″ He also stated, ″Since we have shown many units as Seventeen, I focused the most on showing a differentiated side unique to Jeonghan X Joshua.″ Joshua said, ″I am excited and looking forward to showing a different side from our group activities,″ adding, ″During the process of preparing the album, I developed new passion and dreams. It was a time that gave me good motivation.″ Jeonghan explained, ″I prepared the album hoping that the seven tracks would feel like one story. If you interpret what each song means in your own way and find the hidden metaphors one by one, you can enjoy the album even more richly.″ Joshua added, ″The album tells a story where dreams dreamed while sleeping and dreams you want to achieve in reality meet,″ noting, ″There are elements throughout that seem to intertwine fantasy and reality.″ The title track ″12 o’ clock″ is a dance rock genre borrowing disco and funk styles popular in the 1970s and 1980s, telling a story of chasing the object of dreams between noon and midnight. Joshua said, ″The song sounds even better when you see the stage,″ and added, ″We want to deliver exciting and enjoyable energy through choreography that highlights our visuals and chemistry.″ Jeonghan shared, ″I watched the process of the song being completed from starting as a band track to now. I have a strong attachment to this song.″ He continued, ″I played it for the members in advance, and they all said it was really good and encouraged us, saying it suits us well.″ Jeonghan X Joshua will release all tracks of the album through various online music sites at 6 p.m. on the same day. Since debuting in 2015, Seventeen has continued various unit activities such as BSS (Seungkwan, DK, Hoshi), JEONGHAN X WONWOO, HxW, S.COUPS X MINGYU, DKxSEUNGKWAN, and V8 (THE 8 and Vernon). This is the first time that vocal members Jeonghan and Joshua are forming a unit.
