A university festival poster offers a glimpse of the actress before her debut, while an online account recalls the impression she left on campus.
Before Go Youn-jung starred in Moving and Can This Love Be Translated?, her photograph appeared on a poster advertising a university festival booth.
The image, reportedly created for Seoul Women’s University’s 2016 festival, has resurfaced online alongside an affectionate account from someone claiming to have attended the university with her.

The poster features Go wearing a white knit top, resting her chin on one hand with her wavy hair falling around her shoulders. Above her photograph is the Korean phrase “미대병동,” a playful reference to an art-school ward.
According to the supplied Korean report, the poster promoted a student-run festival drinking booth when Go was studying contemporary art. It dates to three years before her acting debut in the 2019 drama He Is Psychometric.
Her appearance has drawn attention, but the accompanying campus story gives the photograph another dimension.
An online commenter who identified themselves as a former fellow student recalled that their department used Go’s photograph to promote its festival booth.
The commenter said the booth filled up and that visiting friends repeatedly asked who the student in the poster was. They also suggested that photographs did not fully capture how she looked in person.
Their recollection went beyond her appearance, describing Go as someone who greeted others brightly.
The account remains an anonymous personal recollection. Even so, it offers a small, everyday portrait of the actress before television roles made her widely recognizable.

Go later built her acting career through projects including Sweet Home, Law School and Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow.
In Disney+’s Moving, she played Jang Hui-soo, a high school student with extraordinary abilities. Her subsequent work included Death’s Game and Resident Playbook.
This year, she starred opposite Kim Seon-ho in Netflix’s Can This Love Be Translated?, playing celebrity Cha Mu-hee.
The resurfaced poster captures an earlier chapter: a university student whose photograph helped promote a campus event, years before audiences would know her through her screen performances.
Netflix confirms that Can This Love Be Translated? premiered on January 16, 2026. The romantic comedy pairs Go Youn-jung’s celebrity character, Cha Mu-hee, with Kim Seon-ho’s multilingual interpreter, Joo Ho-jin. Written by the Hong sisters and directed by Yoo Young-eun, it explores how emotional misunderstandings can persist even when people understand each other’s words.
