Catch The Young releases new single 'PARANOIA' today (20th)... showcasing the essence of hard rock

The band Catch The Young (Kang San-i, Ahn Ki-hoon, Kim Nam-hyun, Lee Jun-yong, Choi Jung-mo) will release their new single ″PARANOIA″ on the 20th at 6 PM through various online music platforms. ″PARANOIA″ is a hard rock/metal style song characterized by fast double bass drumming, organ arpeggios, rhythmic bass slaps, heavy and technical guitar, and classical piano, harmonizing the distinctive performances of each instrument. The song features a dynamic progression with captivating melodies and hooks, highlighting the band’s solid musicianship. The title is derived from the word ″paranoia,″ and the song tells a story about breaking free from anxiety and thoughts that bind oneself to move toward a new world. Kim Nam-hyun and Ahn Ki-hoon participated in the lyrics writing, and all members contributed to the composition. The album cover features an image personally drawn by Choi Jung-mo. Kang San-i was in charge of the sound FX programming for this track and stated, ″I put my heart and soul into producing ’PARANOIA’ with the thought of creating a song that can satisfy listeners in the homeland of rock band music.″ For the first time among Catch The Young’s released songs, twin pedals were applied to the drums to enhance the song’s speed and dynamism, completing a composition where all instruments play organically together. The ″PARANOIA″ music video teaser, released on the 16th, showed various atmospheres by alternating scenes of the members freely roaming outdoor spaces and the band’s performance in a dark space. Highlights of the track and dynamic performance scenes of the members were also revealed. With the release of this new song, Catch The Young will continue their activities both domestically and internationally. They will perform on November 1st at the ″2026 ROCK IN TAICHUNG″ stage in Taiwan, and from November to December, they will hold the ″2026 CATCH THE YOUNG EUROPE TOUR – IGNITE EVOLVE.″ Catch The Young plans to showcase their band sound while directly interacting with local audiences.
