'Winning Wonder Dogs' Directed by Kim Yeon-Koung, 4th Poster Released... Team Strengthened with Hwang Yeon-joo Joining

MBC entertainment program ’Rookie Director Kim Yeon-Koung2’ released the fourth poster on the 21st featuring Director Kim Yeon-Koung, PR team leader Seungkwan, and 14 players. This season of ’Rookie Director Kim Yeon-Koung2’ covers the founding challenge of Director Kim Yeon-Koung and the ’Winning Wonder Dogs.’ Previously aired episodes revealed the tryouts with a total of 64 applicants, the selection process for the second generation of ’Winning Wonder Dogs’ players, and the Korea-Japan revenge match, marking the official start of season 2. After fierce competition in each position including outside hitter, opposite spiker, setter, middle blocker, and libero, the selected players are showcasing their skills wearing the team uniform. New coaching staff such as Yoon Bong-woo and Lee Hyo-hee have also joined to strengthen the team’s capabilities. On the attacking line are Baek Chae-rim, Inkushi, Han Song-hee, along with newly joined Lee Ye-eun and Ji Min-kyung. Lee Ye-eun was known as the ’God of Serve’ during Director Kim Yeon-Koung’s playing days, and Ji Min-kyung has experience playing for the Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate volleyball team. Opposite spiker Yoon Young-in, who was recognized as a ’hidden gem’ in season 1, is also reasserting her presence. Setters Kim Da-sol and Ha Hyo-rim have been named, while liberos Seo Yoo-kyung and Chae Sun-ah are positioned. Middle blockers Kim Bo-bin, Lee Ye-dam, and Lee Ho-bin are active on the court. With the addition of ’Queen of Records’ Hwang Yeon-joo, the second generation of ’Winning Wonder Dogs’ has become even stronger. Hwang Yeon-joo holds various records including the V-League’s first rookie of the year, triple crown, and MVP, and continues her passion for volleyball even after retirement. This season introduced a new rule allowing the director and coaching staff to recruit and release players immediately after each game. Depending on the game results, the front office can be requested to release players or recruit new ones as needed. The second generation ’Winning Wonder Dogs’ players are showing their individuality and skills, and attention is focused on what changes will occur under the new rule.
