CLOSE YOUR EYES successfully completed the remix project for the pre-release track ″Open Your Eyes″ from their 4th mini album ″256th Note.″ Their agency, Uncore, sequentially released three remix tracks of the song on the 7th, 14th, and 21st. Three teams participated in this project: Agui, Off The Menu, and FKD. Agui presented a remix combining experimental jazz and hip-hop beats, Off The Menu added electronic sounds based on disco house, and FKD expressed a restrained groove by blending alternative R&B, bass music, and acid jazz elements. ″Open Your Eyes″ is a song that reinterprets the freedom and improvisation of jazz through hip-hop and R&B grammar, featuring pianist Johan Kim and saxophonist Jacob Skesny. Members JEON MINWOOK and Kenshin contributed to the lyrics. CLOSE YOUR EYES set a personal best with first-week sales of 710,000 copies for their 4th mini album released last month. The title track ″Drop That!″ also ranked first on KBS2’s ″Music Bank.″ Meanwhile, CLOSE YOUR EYES is scheduled to hold a fan concert titled ″Born an Idol but Want to Date a Closer″ at the Woori Bank Hall in COEX Artium, Seoul, from November 20 to 22.
