The lyrical synth melody, retro mood, and lyrics wishing for the other person's happiness create a lingering impression.Notably, this song draws attention as BABYMONSTER, who has established itself as a 'performance powerhouse,' is competing with vocals alone. BABYMONSTER is expected to showcase its soulful vocal prowess, following the escalating emotions towards the latter half of the song. The music video fully captures the bittersweet and lonely emotions of 'DESERVE.' BABYMONSTER visualized the song's atmosphere through storytelling that organically unfolds the narrative between characters and cinematic directing.BABYMONSTER shared, "'DESERVE' is a song in a style we haven't shown before. You'll be able to see a more mature side of us. We practiced by focusing on the flow of emotions rather than the pitch of the notes. It's a song that suits autumn well, so we hope you can listen to it comfortably whenever you need a change of pace. We ask for your love and support."BABYMONSTER will perform a live rendition of 'DESERVE' on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 24th and SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 25th.
