[TF Interview] "A determination 100 times that of previous work"... YUHZ's true declaration of intent 'B'

First EP 'B' featuring 4 tracks including title song 'B.B.B' releasedAnnouncing various activities based on solid teamwork and confidenceGroup YUHZ's Junseong, Sechan, Kai, Hyo, Jaeil, Bohyun, Yeontae (from left) made a comeback to the music scene by releasing their first EP 'B' on the 21st. / Pinnacle Entertainment[THE FACT|Reporter Choi Hyun-jung] For a K-pop group, their first comeback is as important as their debut. While a debut is a stage to announce the group's beginning and name, a first comeback must clearly reveal the group's identity, charm, and direction, giving listeners a sense of 'certainty.'Moreover, unlike debut activities where awkwardness can be overlooked with a smile, citing 'everything is new and unfamiliar,' the first comeback, with accumulated experience and knowledge, requires passing through a stricter standard. Perhaps this is why many rookie groups confess, 'I'm more nervous before my first comeback than my debut.'Group YUHZ, formed through the SBS survival audition 'B:MY BOYZ,' is also a team facing their 'long-awaited first comeback.' Having announced their debut in May with the single 'Orange Record,' they are returning to the stage after 5 months with the release of their first EP 'B' on the 21st.On the morning of the 15th, we met with YUHZ at the building in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to hear their determination and mindset for their first comeback. The most noticeable change before the 'B' promotions is the member lineup. In August, YUHZ's agency, Pinnacle Entertainment, announced that member Haruto would temporarily halt activities due to health reasons and focus on recovery. Accordingly, YUHZ plans to carry out the 'B' promotions as a 7-member group consisting of Bohyun, Hyo, Junseong, Jaeil, Kai, Yeontae, and Sechan.YUHZ members shared, "Haruto has not fully recovered his health yet, so he will not be able to join us for this promotion. We are cheering for his speedy recovery."YUHZ's Bohyun, Hyo, and Kai (from left) stated that their teamwork has become even stronger while preparing for the new album. / Pinnacle EntertainmentDespite facing an unexpected setback right before their first comeback, YUHZ remained surprisingly calm. In fact, they appeared more relaxed and confident than during their debut. They cited their strengthened teamwork as the reason.Sechan said, "Since we were formed through a survival audition, there were some awkward moments at first. However, while preparing for this album, we felt like 'we have now become one complete team.' We've developed trust to the point where we can openly talk to each other, and our skills have grown as we've increased our practice hours. We have 'certainty' about our team," he emphasized. As such, their determination for the 'B' promotions is immense. Hyo declared, "We will show our true selves. We will make sure everyone remembers, 'This is who we are, YUHZ!'" Yeontae added, "This album is our true declaration of intent. We will confidently and boldly show our true selves."'B,' returning with such overflowing confidence and certainty, is an album that captures the present YUHZ and their vision for the future, under the theme of 'Before, Be, Begin.'The album includes four tracks: the title song 'B.B.B,' 'Here We Go,' 'Moonlight,' and 'To My Galaxy.'Hyo explained, "'B' is an album that encompasses our past and present, and also shows the future we envision. That's why we call 'B' our 'true declaration of intent.' The title song 'B.B.B' best captures that message."The 'B.B.B' they are confident about is a rap-rock song that combines punk rock and hip-hop, creating dynamic energy with bright and cheerful guitar riffs and powerful 808 bass.YUHZ's Junseong, Yeontae, Jaeil, and Sechan (clockwise from top left) are confident that the title song 'B.B.B' is their 'true declaration of intent.' / Pinnacle EntertainmentKai introduced, "As soon as I heard the demo of 'B.B.B,' I thought it would be the title track. It has great energy, and the chorus melody is so catchy that I think it will definitely stick in listeners' minds."Interestingly, in line with the lyrics 'Our Beautiful Name, completed by each of our Bs,' the YUHZ members have actually chosen their own 'B's.They will each represent Best (Jaeil), Bebe (Sechan), Big (Yeontae), Brave (Kai), Boost (Hyo), Bright (Junseong), and Beautiful (Bohyun), and plan to showcase performances fitting these roles during the 'B.B.B' promotions.Hyo said, "During our debut promotions, we lacked experience, and we were so busy with immediate tasks that we didn't know how to communicate with fans or promote ourselves better. This time, with our previous experience and thorough preparation, we will introduce YUHZ and the members' diverse charms to more people."Another reason for YUHZ's confidence and certainty in this promotion is, of course, their fans. Bohyun shared, "We have consistently carried out promotional activities in Japan since our debut, and we also appeared at the 'Super Concert' in Mongolia. We were happy to meet many fans and audiences. I'm excited and looking forward to making many happy memories with our Dearz (fandom name) during this promotion as well."Hyo added, "The song 'To My Galaxy' included in this album is a fan song that conveys our desire to always be a shining presence for Dearz. It's our first musical gift to our fans. We are also preparing more content and activities where we can meet you in person, such as busking. Our primary goal is always to repay the support and love you've shown us."YUHZ has expressed their ambition to show 100 times more growth than during their debut with their new album 'B.' / Pinnacle EntertainmentHaving passed the starting line of their debut and embarking on a full-fledged race, YUHZ has set their goal for this promotion as 'x100.' This means 'to do 100 times better than the previous work.'Bohyun stated, "Whether it's results, skills, or fan love, we will promote with the determination to multiply our previous achievements by 100. Please keep a close eye on YUHZ," foreshadowing a '100 times more grown YUHZ.'laugardagr@tf.co.kr[Entertainment Department | ssent@tf.co.kr]
