ILLIT sells 380,000 copies on the first day of Mini Album 5... highest record among all albums

ILLIT released the mini 5th album ’BREAK EVEN’ and recorded the highest first-day sales in history. According to Hanteo Chart and the agency Believe Lab on the 27th, the album sold 382,991 copies in one day on the 26th, ranking first on the daily album chart. This is about a 40% increase compared to the first-day sales of the previous mini 4th album ’MAMIHLAPINATAPAI,’ which sold 276,145 copies, marking the highest record among ILLIT’s albums. The title track ’I Will Arrest You’ also stood out on domestic and international music charts. It entered the Melon Top 100 chart at 72nd place at 7 PM on the 26th and rose to 19th place within four hours, ranking high on Bugs and Genie real-time charts as well. On Japan’s Line Music real-time chart, the new song and the previous track ’It’s Me’ were both ranked, and all tracks from the mini 5th album entered the AWA Music real-time rising chart. The music video is also receiving great attention. The ’I Will Arrest You’ music video surpassed 4 million views on YouTube within 12 hours of its release and entered the YouTube ’Trending Music’ charts in 19 countries and regions, including the United States and the United Kingdom, as of 9 AM on the 27th. On the same day, ILLIT is scheduled to release a performance video of ’I Will Arrest You’ through Mnet Digital Studio M2’s ’Studio Dance’ channel in the afternoon.
