However, Hyun was unable to attend the event due to a leg injury. The 3rd mini-album, 'i=!', is the group's first release in about five months since their 2nd mini-album, 'I,God', released in May. It expands the group's worldview, focusing on moments of choice and the unchosen possibilities that lie behind them.Wumuti, the leader and producer of the group, said, "The title of the 3rd mini-album has 'i' and an exclamation mark '!' with an equals sign '=' in between," and added, "It deals with emotions such as pressure and fear felt when facing a choice."This connects to the reason for having two title tracks on the new album. Wumuti explained, "The 3rd mini-album consists of double title tracks, which is also related to choice. It contains deep contemplation about which choice is right."XLOV's 3rd mini-album, 'i=!', will be released on the 28th at 6 PM. /RBW, Strange LabThe title track 'Hush' is a song that adds bold sound design to a heavy bass. It depicts the duality of life through the contrasting beings of God, who leads people to the right path, and the opposing force that maximizes nightmares.Wumuti expressed confidence, saying, "'Hush' is the first title track where XLOV has attempted an oriental vibe. We tried to give it a dark and terrifying feeling. It's a song that captures XLOV's unique beauty." Rui also said, "I felt a strong conviction from the very first instrument sound. It has the charm of XLOV."Another title track, 'Tuschetzhiwa', is based on dreamcore and hyperpop, combining intense house rhythms with repetitive vocal chops. It tells the story of a wolf raised with a chihuahua family who believes it can also become a beautiful chihuahua in a dream world.Haru and Rui described 'Tuschetzhiwa' as "a song with an extreme opposite vibe to 'Hush'," adding, "It's dreamy and cute, but has a sad atmosphere." Wumuti, who has uploaded fairy tales related to the song on their personal social media, said, "It captures the emptiness somewhere in my heart," and compared it to "youth."In addition, the album includes 'Cat Move', which captures the provocative charm of cats, the unit song by Rui and Haru, 'All Tied Up', characterized by heavy bass and dreamy synth sounds, and Wumuti Hyun's unit song, 'Silence', with warm piano melodies and jazz-based elements.XLOV will meet fans with two title tracks, 'Hush' and 'Tuschetzhiwa', for the first time in about five months. /RBW, Strange LabXLOV is the only genderless group in K-pop. They aspire to have a positive impact on the public and the industry, and they are determined to achieve continuous growth. Wumuti stated, "With each album, we focus on expanding XLOV's musical spectrum. For 'i=!', we also strived to showcase genres and performances we haven't tried before."Furthermore, they hope to become a unique presence beyond just being a distinctive group. Haru said, "We hope the name XLOV becomes a unique word in itself. We hope for a day when anyone can say, 'I feel like XLOV today.'"Rui also said, "Rather than 'pretty' or 'handsome,' we want to be described as 'supremely beautiful.' We believe beauty is being true to oneself. It's the most pleasant compliment to hear."Finally, XLOV revealed their goals for 'i=!'. All three members said, "It's a dream we've had since we were trainees," and vowed, "We want to win first place on music shows. We wish for this with every comeback, and we will work hard during this 'i=!' promotion to achieve it."XLOV will release their 3rd mini-album 'i=!' at 6 PM today and begin their promotions.mcy21@tf.co.kr[Entertainment Department | ssent@tf.co.kr]
