BTS’ ‘ARIRANG’ Reaches 31 Consecutive Weeks on Billboard 200 as ‘SWIM’ Holds Global Top 10

The album ranks No. 46 on the October 31 chart, extending a run that began at No. 1, while BTS prepares to close its South American tour dates in Brazil.

BTS’ ARIRANG is maintaining its place among the United States’ most-consumed albums more than seven months after release, extending its Billboard 200 run to 31 consecutive weeks. The group’s fifth studio album ranks No. 46 on the chart dated October 31, according to figures reported on October 28, while lead single “SWIM” continues to hold a top-10 position on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart.

The latest results add another week to a campaign that has combined sustained album-chart activity with major streaming milestones and an ongoing world tour. After entering the Billboard 200 at No. 1 on the April 4 chart and spending three weeks at the summit, ARIRANG has remained on the ranking as BTS carries the album’s music through successive stages of its international performances.

From a No. 1 Debut to a 31-Week Run

ARIRANG’s latest No. 46 position keeps it inside the Billboard 200’s top 50, while its 31 consecutive appearances establish the length of its uninterrupted chart presence. The album also places No. 19 on Top Album Sales, giving it a separate position on Billboard’s ranking focused on album purchases.

Those two results describe different parts of its continuing performance. The Billboard 200 combines album sales with track-equivalent and streaming-equivalent album activity, whereas Top Album Sales measures purchases, meaning the latest chart update captures both overall consumption and the album’s sales position.

Released on March 20, ARIRANG has now moved well beyond the opening weeks that produced its three-week stay at No. 1. Its continued chart presence provides a longer view of the release’s reception, showing that its U.S. activity has extended through much of the year rather than being concentrated entirely around launch.

‘SWIM’ Adds Another Week Inside the Global Top 10

The album’s lead single remains prominent on Billboard’s international song rankings, placing No. 28 on the Global 200 and No. 10 on Global Excl. U.S. in the latest update. The two charts draw on streaming and digital sales across more than 200 countries and territories, with the latter excluding activity from the United States.

For “SWIM,” the No. 10 position brings its cumulative time inside the Global Excl. U.S. top 10 to 30 weeks, following a No. 1 debut. That distinction matters because the reported figure describes its total weeks in the top 10, rather than establishing an uninterrupted 30-week streak.

Another ARIRANG track, “NORMAL,” also appears on both rankings, at No. 188 on the Global 200 and No. 102 on Global Excl. U.S. Its inclusion gives the album a second song on the latest global charts alongside the continuing run of its lead single.

Spotify Milestones Extend Beyond the Album

The Billboard update follows several Spotify achievements reported during October, covering three different measures of BTS’ reach. The group reportedly became the first group to accumulate 10 billion Spotify streams within a calendar year as of October 16, a figure encompassing its music rather than ARIRANG alone.

The album itself surpassed five billion cumulative Spotify streams as of October 14, while “SWIM” crossed one billion on October 24. According to the report, “SWIM” was the first song released in 2026 to reach that milestone, adding a release-year distinction to its individual streaming total.

The visual campaign has also continued to draw viewers, with the music video for “2.0” surpassing 200 million YouTube views on October 22. Together, the reported milestones show activity across the group’s catalog, the album, its lead single and a separate music video, each measured over its own stated period.

Brazil Dates Lead Into the Next Tour Chapter

BTS is scheduled to conclude the South American leg of the ARIRANG world tour with performances in São Paulo on October 28, 30 and 31, local time. The Brazilian dates bring the regional run to a close while the album and its songs continue to appear on the latest U.S. and global charts.

The next announced stop is Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in November, opening the tour’s upcoming Asian leg. That schedule carries the ARIRANG campaign into another region after a month marked by the album’s 31-week Billboard run, “SWIM” reaching one billion Spotify streams and “2.0” passing 200 million video views.

Editor’s Note: BIGHIT MUSIC’s official album introduction explains that ARIRANG takes its name from the traditional Korean folk song and connects that reference with BTS’ roots and the members’ present-day emotions. Released on March 20, 2026, the album uses that cultural connection as a framework for the group’s fifth studio project, adding context to a title now appearing on charts around the world.
