Young Tak holds 'TAK SHOW 5' in Jeonju... Engages with the audience amid heavy rain

Singer Young Tak held the ’2026 YOUNGTAK CONCERT [TAK SHOW 5 : TAK TO THE FUTHURE]’ at the outdoor performance hall of Jeonju Sori Arts Center on the 24th and 25th of last month. Despite the adverse conditions of heavy rain, Young Tak and the fandom Young Tak and Blues (Youngbles) heated up the venue together. ’TAK SHOW5’ is the fifth season of the brand concert ’TAK SHOW’ that Young Tak presents annually, featuring storytelling with a time travel concept and a cinematic stage setup. Young Tak opened the performance with the title tracks ″Kkeokgeo″ and ″Pom Michyeotda″ from the third full album ’GOGO’, and showcased various songs including ″I Can’t Sleep Tonight,″ ″Vintage Love,″ ″Old Radio,″ ″Dosirasolfamiredo,″ ″Penguin,″ ″PACEMAKER,″ ″Why Are You There,″ and ″Jjin-iya.″ Especially on the first day, Young Tak continued the stage despite the pouring rain. Singing while soaked, he shouted, ″This is my first Waterbomb in my life,″ and drew cheers from the audience with the comment, ″The weather fairy went on vacation.″ Audience members wearing raincoats also stayed in their seats and enjoyed the performance. There were also attempts to cross genres. Young Tak reinterpreted TVXQ!’s ″MIROTIC″ in a trot version with a traditional Korean music mood, presenting a unique stage, and during the performance of Shin Joong-hyun and Yeopjeon’s ″Beauty,″ he collaborated with singer Outsider, who appeared as a special guest on the second day. The two expressed their friendship by sharing their wish to perform together until they are 80 years old. The encore stage concluded the Jeonju concert with performances of ″Psycho World″ and ″Ibul.″ Throughout the concert, Young Tak communicated with the audience and demonstrated strong stage presence. Meanwhile, the ’TAK SHOW5’ national tour is scheduled to continue in Daegu on November 28-29, Incheon on December 19-20, and Busan on January 16-17, 2027.
