Young Tak holds a nationwide tour concert in Jeonju... Communicates with the audience amid heavy rain

Singer Young Tak held the ’2026 YOUNGTAK CONCERT [TAK SHOW 5 : TAK TO THE FUTHURE]’ at the outdoor performance hall of Jeonju Sori Arts Center on the 24th and 25th of last month. This concert is the fifth season of Young Tak’s annual brand concert series ’TAK SHOW,’ featuring storytelling with a time travel concept and movie-like stage production. On the first day of the concert, despite heavy rain, Young Tak started the stage with the title tracks ″Kkeokgeo″ and ″Pom Michyeotda″ from his third full-length album ’GOGO.’ Soaked from the rain, he continued his passionate performance, leading the atmosphere with comments like ″This is my first water bomb in my life″ and ″The weather fairy went on vacation.″ Audience members wearing raincoats stayed in their seats to enjoy the show, creating special memories with Young Tak and the fandom Young Tak&Blues (Youngblues). In this season’s performance, the story of Young Tak traveling back in time, becoming a college student, participating in a singing contest, and meeting his first love was intertwined with the stage. Songs from the third full-length album such as ″I Can’t Sleep Tonight,″ ″Vintage Love,″ ″Old Radio,″ ″Dosirasolfamiredo,″ ″Penguin,″ and ″PACEMAKER,″ as well as hit songs like ″Why Are You There″ and ″Jjin-iya,″ filled the concert hall. New songs and existing tracks were organically arranged to fit the time travel concept. The genre-crossing attempts also drew attention. Young Tak reinterpreted TVXQ!’s ″Mirotic″ as a trot version with a traditional Korean music atmosphere, showcasing a different charm from the original with traditional Korean accompaniment, his unique vocal style, and high notes. On the second day, singer Outsider made a surprise appearance as a special guest in the audience. Joining Young Tak while he was singing Shin Joong-hyun and Yeopjeon’s ″Beauty,″ Outsider displayed natural chemistry and wit. The two shared a special friendship, expressing their wish to perform together until they are 80 years old. The encore stage featured ″Psycho World″ and ″Ibul,″ and Young Tak communicated with the audience until the very end despite the bad weather, concluding the performance. Meanwhile, the ’TAK SHOW5’ national tour will continue in Daegu on November 28-29, Incheon on December 19-20, and Busan on January 16-17, 2027.
