KQ Entertainment says the two members are resting and prioritizing recovery, while the remaining six members take part in the variety show.
ATEEZ members Hongjoong and Wooyoung were unable to participate in a scheduled recording of JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” because of health-related issues, KQ Entertainment announced on October 29. The agency said it had prioritized their recovery and arranged for both artists to receive sufficient rest.
The announcement changes what had been planned as an appearance by all eight ATEEZ members. According to Korean media reports, the remaining six members will participate in the recording, with the episode expected to air in November.

In its official notice, KQ explained that Hongjoong and Wooyoung had been scheduled to appear on the program but were unable to attend the recording for health reasons. The agency asked for understanding from fans who had been looking forward to seeing them and said it would do its best to support their recovery.
KQ did not disclose either member’s symptoms or diagnosis, and it did not provide a date for their return. The notice specifically addresses their participation in “Knowing Bros,” without announcing a broader suspension of their activities.
That distinction leaves the update focused on the missed recording. The agency’s stated priority is giving the two members time to rest, with any further schedule changes requiring a separate announcement.
The group’s planned visit to “Knowing Bros,” also known as “Ask Us Anything,” will proceed with Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi and Jongho, according to reports published following KQ’s notice.
The appearance comes ahead of ATEEZ’s next album, “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6.” KQ’s official preorder announcement confirms a November 13 release for the group’s 15th mini-album, placing the television recording within the lead-up to their next musical chapter.
Although the program was originally expected to feature all eight members, Hongjoong and Wooyoung’s absence means viewers will see a different lineup for this appearance. An exact broadcast date was not included in the health notice.

For fans awaiting news about the two members, KQ’s message establishes that both missed the recording and are being given time to recover. It does not specify the nature of their conditions, how long they will need to rest or whether other appearances will be affected.
The agency closed its notice by thanking fans for their understanding and reiterating its commitment to helping Hongjoong and Wooyoung regain their health.
Editor’s Note: KQ Entertainment’s October 29 notice is the primary source for this health update. The November 13 album release is separately confirmed in the agency’s official “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6” preorder announcement. The album schedule provides context for the group’s activities and does not establish either member’s recovery timeline.
