Kangnam revealed his experience of proposing to his wife, Lee Sang-hwa, multiple times. In a video posted on the YouTube channel ’Dongnechingu Kangnami’ on the 29th, Kangnam mentioned that they have been married for 8 years and will be entering their 9th year next year. He joked about Lee Sang-hwa, saying, ″It’s like a lottery. We don’t match.″ In the video, the production team asked Lee Sang-hwa if she would marry Kangnam again if she were born again, and she replied, ″I think I would. Isn’t it fun?″ Kangnam also said that Lee Sang-hwa laughs at whatever he does and that even the way she applies sunscreen is cute. Lee Sang-hwa actually described Kangnam’s behavior as ″cute.″ The conversation about proposals continued. Kangnam revealed that he had proposed to Lee Sang-hwa several times, and when asked about the number, Lee Sang-hwa said, ″There were so many that I can’t remember.″ Kangnam cited an event at Disneyland as the most memorable proposal. He recalled handing Lee Sang-hwa a bag containing a black plastic bag in a place with no people, and Lee Sang-hwa remembered that there were also wet socks inside. Kangnam explained that there was a ring inside, and Lee Sang-hwa shed tears. Meanwhile, Kangnam and Lee Sang-hwa dated for a year before getting married in October 2019.
