'100 Days of Lies' Kim Yoo-jung stole confidential documents... Blood-stained papers

In the April 31st episode of tvN’s weekend drama ″100 Days My Prince,″ Lee Ga-kyung (played by Kim Yoo-jung) infiltrates the Government-General of Korea’s Political Affairs Office to steal top-secret photos. After discovering a classified document addressed to Sato Shinichi (played by Jin Sun-kyu), Lee Ga-kyung sneaks into the Political Affairs Secretary’s Office and successfully takes a family photo of Geum Seok-jung and Yoo So-ran while Secretary Yamada is away. When she is nearly caught by Sato Hideo (Park Jin Young), she narrowly escapes danger by swapping the photo with a chocolate bar. The episode also unfolds the tragic historical context and poignant backstory surrounding Lee Ga-kyung. She visits Yoo So-ran’s (played by Kim Hyun-joo) house and informs her that her ex-husband died after being tortured, saying, ″His last words were to buy castella for Yoo So-ran, but I didn’t know what castella was, so I just came.″ Yoo So-ran recalls her husband telling their daughter Seo-hee that when spring comes, they would go to Gyeongseong to eat castella, and she thanks Lee Ga-kyung, saying, ″Thank you for conveying his words.″ Later, Yoo So-ran asks Yoo Philip (played by Lee Moo-saeng) to save Lee Ga-kyung and send her to America. Meanwhile, on their way to the Government-General of Korea, Sato Hideo and Lee Ga-kyung greet Sato Shinichi with a 90-degree bow. Lee Ga-kyung notices Sato Hideo clenching his fists. Later, Sato Hideo confesses to Lee Ga-kyung that he learned both love and abandonment from his Korean foster mother and apologizes for his harsh words the previous day. Lee Ga-kyung also opens up for the first time about how her mother remarried a Japanese man and abandoned her. Sato Hideo asks about her relationship with Yoo Philip, saying, ″Geum Seo-hee is quite a decent person. That’s why I don’t understand. Why that person?″ To clear up misunderstandings at the Political Affairs Office, Sato Hideo invites Lee Ga-kyung to a meal. However, while helping Inoma in trouble on the street, they argue, and Hideo says, ″Let’s have the meal another time. See you tomorrow,″ before leaving. Later, when Lee Ga-kyung apologizes and offers to buy drinks, Hideo insists on paying, and they share a drink together. During this time, they exchange heartfelt feelings. Meanwhile, after checking Hideo’s finger injury, Sato Shinichi pushes for a political marriage with Kim Myung-nam (played by Park Jung-yeon), the daughter of Joil Textile.
