KiiiKii Jiyu, BoA reveal cover of 'Atlantis Girl'... A lyrical reinterpretation

KiiiKii(KiiiKiii) member Jiyu recently showcased a unique vocal tone through a cover video. Starship Entertainment released a video titled ″Atlantis Princess Covered by KiiiKiii JIYU″ on the official KiiiKii YouTube channel on October 31. In the video, Jiyu reinterpreted BoA’s ″Atlantis Princess″ with her own sensibility, demonstrating a clear high-pitched voice, stable singing, and rich emotional expression. Unlike the original song’s lively melody and dynamic performance, she conveyed a lyrical emotion. Through this cover, Jiyu revealed a different charm from the bright and confident energy she showed on the KiiiKii stage. Jiyu has worked as a special MC on music shows and displayed a clever play style with a surprising charm on Netflix’s brain survival show ″Death Game 2: The Final Winner.″ She also appeared as a daily weathercaster on JTBC’s ″Morning&.″ Meanwhile, KiiiKii recently successfully held their first fan concert in Japan, the ″KiiiKii Festival Japan Edition (KiiiKiii FesTiiival JAPAN Edition).″
