November is shaping up to be one of the most crowded months on the K-drama calendar this year. Palace betrayals, office romances, a seventh-century war epic and a cross-border serial killer hunt all arrive within a few weeks of each other, spread across Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video, TVING and the Korean broadcast networks. Here is a week-by-week guide to nine premieres worth clearing space for.

The month starts with its biggest swing. “The Remarried Empress” adapts the hit web novel and webtoon about Empress Navier, who agrees to a divorce from her unfaithful husband on one condition: that she be allowed to marry the rival Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom. Shin Min-a leads the cast alongside Ju Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-suk and Lee Se-young. Disney+ launches it with a four-episode premiere on November 4, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday until November 25, for ten episodes in total.
Not every November drama is a spectacle. “Happy Anding” follows a comedy trio that has spent ten years chasing recognition without getting it, and the two sisters whose lives collide with theirs. The cast includes Kang Hoon, Jo Hyun-chul, Kim Jung-jin and Lee E-dam, and the series is reportedly adapted from a Japanese drama. It looks like the grounded, bittersweet counterweight to the month’s bigger titles. It airs on tvN in Korea.
Joy of Red Velvet and Kim Hyun-jin lead this romantic comedy about Gong Yu-il, an ordinary job seeker who unexpectedly becomes the manager of top star Tak Mu-i, a celebrity still carrying the emotional weight of a stalking incident. Shin Hyun-soo and Kang Na-eon join the cast to turn the story into a love square. The series is based on the Naver webtoon by Dooboo and premieres on TVING on November 9, with Viu and Abema carrying it in selected regions.
Sung Hoon plays a perfectionist entertainment CEO with severe insomnia who becomes determined to find the singer behind an indie album whose voice calms him. Oh Se-young co-stars, and the drama airs on MBN in Korea.
KBS2 brings out the big-budget history lesson. The series, known in Korea as “Munmu,” follows Prince Kim Beop-min, the future King Munmu of Silla, as Silla, Goguryeo, Baekje and Tang China clash over the peninsula. Lee Hyun-wook leads, with Jang Hyuk as the Goguryeo general Yeon Gaesomun, Park Sung-woong as Kim Yu-sin and Kim Kang-woo also in the cast. It premieres Saturday, November 14 at 9:20 p.m. KST and airs on weekends.

The Traffic Crime Investigation team returns, this time with a broader mandate to chase offenders nationwide. Lee Min-ki, Kwak Sun-young, Heo Sung-tae and Lee Ho-chul reunite, and NCT’s Jisung joins as rookie officer Ji Dae-se. It airs on ENA on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 p.m. KST.
Arguably the month’s most intriguing thriller. Son Suk-ku plays Seoul detective Kim Seok and Eita Nagayama plays Tokyo detective Inose, partners in a hunt for a killer who leaves bloody messages in the other country’s language. Written and directed by Han Jun-hee, the eight-episode series arrives on Netflix worldwide on November 20.
On the same day, SBS launches the second season of its divorce-law drama. Jang Na-ra returns as star lawyer Cha Eun-kyung, with Kim Hye-yoon joining as career lawyer Kang Hye-seong and Park Hae-jin also in the cast. It airs Fridays and Saturdays at 9:50 p.m. KST.
Prime Video’s office romance stars Park Min-young as Kang I-ji, a workaholic legal-team head whose orderly life shifts when she meets Han Sun-woo (Yook Sung-jae), a warm-hearted intern with a passion for jewelry design. Go Soo plays her respected boss. It debuts on Prime Video on November 25 in more than 240 countries and territories.

If you want sheer scale, start with “The Remarried Empress.” For the tightest premise, pick “The Blue Road.” For a comfort watch, “Nine to Six” and “One of a Kind Romance” are the safest bets. Mark November 20 in particular: a Netflix thriller and an SBS legal drama both start that night.
