Jay Black recently mentioned idols who have shown impressive dance skills to him. On the November 4th episode 367 of tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, Jay Black, who appeared as a guest, shared his experience creating the intro choreography for the girl group A2O LITE’s ″NEON.″ He said that the difficulty of idol choreography has been increasing recently, and especially about ATEEZ’s ″BAD″ choreography, he said, ″They really go this far? I was surprised. So when I was asked to choreograph for A2O LITE, I said, ’I’ll try harder.’″ When asked about idol dancers he recognizes as choreographers, Jay Black mentioned BTS J-Hope. He said, ″Actually, I noticed those who had some background in street dance before becoming singers. One of them is BTS J-Hope. You can really feel J-HOPE’s sincerity toward street dance in their dancing.″ Among female singers, he picked Mimi. Jay Black said that after watching Mimi’s solo song ″Bish Bash Bosh,″ he thought, ″She’s not an idol? She’s at the level of an idol trainer?″
