Chef Jung Ji-sun opens a 140-pyeong restaurant in Taiwan... Fully booked for two months

Chef Jung Ji-sun reveals her large-scale restaurant in Taiwan, spanning 140 pyeong with 74 seats, through a broadcast. KBS 2TV’s ″The Manager Has Donkey Ears″ features Chef Jung Ji-sun’s Taiwan branch. The restaurant is known to have more than 20 staff members. Chef Jung Ji-sun stated, ″Reservations were fully booked for two months as soon as we opened,″ and reported that more than 10 Taiwanese employees resigned within a month and a half after opening. She said, ″Since the staff shouldn’t run away, we treat them like angels in Taiwan.″ In fact, Taiwanese employees described Jung Ji-sun as a ″very kind boss,″ and when one employee forgot to turn off the faucet, flooding the kitchen, she generously overlooked it, saying, ″It seems they are still not familiar with the kitchen equipment.″ Meanwhile, Kim Sook visited the Taiwan restaurant and recalled the past Seochon branch days, saying, ″I was overwhelmed thinking about the Seochon branch.″ MC Jeon Hyun-moo commented, ″Jung Ji-sun’s dark history is an asset only ’Sadang-gwi’ has,″ adding, ″You really never know people’s fate.″ Contrary to her past statement that she would ″never sell jajangmyeon and jjamppong,″ Chef Jung Ji-sun attracted attention by introducing jajangmyeon as a new menu item at the Taiwan branch. Jeon Hyun-moo expressed regret, saying, ″She never made it when I asked for it for four years,″ and Kim Sook rated Jung Ji-sun’s jajangmyeon ″10 out of 10″ after tasting it. Jeon Hyun-moo joked, ″I should have gone and made Jung Ji-sun cry,″ bringing laughter to the scene. Chef Jung Ji-sun began her culinary education by enrolling in a domestic hotel culinary program and is known to have endured working in the kitchen without speaking Chinese during her studies in China. She has appeared on shows such as ″Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,″ ″The Manager Has Donkey Ears,″ and ″Black and White Chef.″
