BTS member V has once again proven his global impact, landing among the world’s most searched figures on Google and placing his name next to some of the most powerful and influential people on the planet.

According to international search data reports, V ranked fourth on the list of the most Googled people worldwide in 2025, standing alongside figures such as Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Taylor Swift. He was the only K-pop artist to reach the top tier of the ranking.

The ranking, released by Indian educational and data platform Jagran Josh and cited by international media outlets, analyzed global Google search trends across politics, business, sports, and entertainment.

While the list included global icons like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar, V stood out as the most searched male pop artist and the only K-pop representative to appear near the top.

Among female pop artists, Taylor Swift ranked highest, while V led the male pop category.

Jagran Josh pointed to several reasons behind V’s exceptional search volume. His solo music activities, strong presence on Instagram, and consistently talked-about fashion choices have kept him at the center of online conversations.

V also ranked sixth on the list of the most searched male artists born after 1990, a category dominated by global pop stars. The list included Justin Bieber at number one, followed by Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Zayn Malik, V, and Travis Scott.

Notably, V was the only K-pop artist to appear in this category. The data was compiled using Google search records dating back to 2004, when large-scale global trend tracking first became possible.

Since BTS debuted on June 13, 2013, V has maintained a strong presence in global search rankings. From 2021 through 2022 and again in 2024 and 2025, he ranked as the most searched Asian celebrity worldwide on Google Trends.
