Singer and producer Jay Park recently amused fans by sharing a lighthearted story about unexpectedly running into G-Dragon, showing off his trademark humor and honesty.
On Feb. 5, a new video titled “38-Year-Old Jay Park Invites You to His Home” was uploaded to Jay Park’s YouTube channel Jay Park 씨. During the episode, Jay Park chatted casually with the production team about potential guests for the show.
The producers joked that they wanted guests who could be blunt or playful with Jay Park. In response, he jokingly suggested inviting his own mother.

When asked how he would convince her, Jay Park laughed and said he would ask whether she would appear on the show for 100 million won. His mother immediately declined. Even when he jokingly raised the offer to 1 billion won, she hesitated, saying it sounded like “trouble,” sending everyone into laughter.
The conversation then shifted to celebrity guests, with the production team mentioning G-Dragon. Jay Park brushed it off with a joke, saying G-Dragon lives in a penthouse and would never appear on the show.
His mother quickly teased him back, saying he probably did not even know G-Dragon personally.

Jay Park then surprised everyone by revealing that he had recently run into G-Dragon at a Travis Scott concert. When the staff asked if they had greeted each other, Jay Park confirmed they did.
“We’re not strangers,” he said casually, before adding with mock seriousness, “I’m kind of a celebrity too. I’ve been around for a long time. I’m fairly well-known.”
His playful remark sparked laughter on set and quickly became a highlight of the episode.
The story resonated with viewers, who appreciated Jay Park’s candid attitude and self-aware humor. The moment offered a rare, relaxed glimpse into how top artists casually cross paths behind the scenes, reminding fans that even global stars can share surprisingly ordinary encounters.
