TWICE member Dahyun will temporarily suspend activities after being diagnosed with an ankle fracture, her agency JYP Entertainment confirmed late February 11.

In an official statement released via social media, the agency shared that Dahyun had experienced ankle issues during the early part of TWICE’s North American tour. She continued receiving treatment while in the United States, but after returning to Korea and undergoing a detailed medical examination, she was diagnosed with a fracture.
Medical professionals advised that she requires sufficient rest and ongoing treatment.
JYP explained that Dahyun had been prioritizing performances for fans despite discomfort. Since January, she has participated in the North American leg of the tour and, following the injury, performed while seated in order to minimize strain.
However, the agency noted that touring conditions including long-haul flights, continuous movement between venues, and choreography could place significant pressure on the injured area.
After thorough discussions between Dahyun, the company, and medical staff, it was decided that her health must take precedence. As a result, she will not participate in the North American concerts scheduled from February 13 through March 7.
Dahyun will now concentrate on rest and treatment. The agency stated that her return to future schedules will be determined based on her recovery progress and further consultation with medical professionals.
JYP also apologized to fans for the sudden announcement and asked for understanding, emphasizing that the decision was made to ensure Dahyun’s full recovery.
TWICE is currently holding their global tour ‘THIS IS FOR,’ which spans 43 cities worldwide.
Fans have since shared messages of support, expressing hopes for Dahyun’s swift and complete recovery before she returns to the stage.
