Ju Jihoon is stepping back into the broadcast drama spotlight with a character driven by power, survival, and irreversible choices.
ENA’s upcoming Monday–Tuesday series Climax has unveiled its first character stills, introducing the actor as Bang Taeseop, a prosecutor who throws himself into the heart of a high-stakes power cartel in his pursuit of the very top.
The drama is set to premiere on March 16, positioning itself as a political survival story that asks a dangerous question: who truly deserves to stand at the peak of power?

Bang Taeseop is not portrayed through a simple good-versus-evil lens. Instead, he is a strategist who prioritizes survival and reads the flow of the game before anyone else.
His defining trait is ambition without hesitation. As he climbs higher, every decision demands a heavier price, yet he continues forward, fully aware of the consequences. This psychological tension forms the core of the character and signals a darker, more layered performance from Ju Jihoon.
The role also marks his television comeback following the global success of the Netflix medical series The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, making Climax one of the most anticipated K-drama returns of the year.
The newly released images visually map Bang Taeseop’s trajectory.
In the first still, he sits inside a meticulously organized prosecutor’s office. The calm environment contrasts with his sharp, calculating gaze as he studies documents, suggesting a man who is always several moves ahead.
The second image shifts to a press conference exit. Surrounded by reporters and flashing cameras, he walks forward without turning back. The composition emphasizes both authority and risk, reflecting a figure who stands closest to the summit while also occupying the most fragile position.
These visuals frame him as the axis of the drama’s power structure.

Rather than focusing on moral victory, Climax centers on alliances built by desire and the cost of staying in the game.
Bang Taeseop becomes the key figure in a network where cooperation is driven by ambition, and every partnership carries the potential for collapse. The narrative explores how far a person will go when reaching the top becomes the only objective.
Climax will air on ENA at 10 PM KST and will also be available through KT Genie TV and Disney+, expanding its accessibility to international audiences.
With Ju Jihoon leading a story about power, calculation, and survival, the series is already shaping up to be a major entry in the 2026 K-drama lineup and a defining new chapter in the actor’s career.
