KATSEYE stays on Billboard 200 for 34 Weeks

KATSEYE’s momentum in the United States is showing no signs of slowing down.

The HYBE–Geffen global girl group has now spent 34 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200, as their second EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS ranked No.52 on the latest chart dated February 28. Nearly eight months after its debut, the album continues to hold its position — the longest charting run for a girl group release from 2025.

A rare long-running girl group album in the U.S.

After peaking at No.4 last summer, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS has transformed from a strong debut into a true long-term seller. Its sustained performance reflects not only streaming power but also steady physical album demand.

The record climbed again on both major sales charts this week, reaching No.11 on Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales. The upward movement this late into its chart run highlights the group’s consistent fanbase growth rather than short-term viral impact.

Even their debut album is charting again

The group’s first EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) has also re-entered the Billboard 200, appearing at No.192 more than a year and a half after its release.

Its return alongside a Top Album Sales ranking reinforces the group’s expanding catalog strength in the U.S. market, a key indicator of long-term artist viability.

Global streaming remains steady

The track Gabriela continues its own extended run on Billboard’s global charts, remaining on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. rankings for 35 weeks.

Rather than a single breakout moment, KATSEYE’s performance is being driven by steady listening across multiple regions, which has become one of the defining patterns of their growth.

A flagship result for HYBE’s global strategy

Formed through The Debut: Dream Academy, KATSEYE is widely viewed as the clearest realization of HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s “multi-home, multi-genre” vision.

Their success in the U.S. market — one of the most difficult for new groups to sustain — demonstrates the potential of a system built simultaneously for global audiences rather than adapted later.

Coachella and award nominations ahead

The group’s long chart run arrives as they prepare for two major milestones.

They have been nominated in four categories at the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Awards, and in April they will take the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival a move expected to further expand their international visibility.

From project group to global long-run act

KATSEYE’s current trajectory is no longer about a successful debut.
It is about endurance.

In a market where most releases peak quickly and disappear, a 34-week run signals something different — a fandom and listener base that continues to grow over time.

And that is what is turning KATSEYE into one of the most closely watched global girl groups of their generation.
