I.O.I To Hold Anniversary Tour First Concert in Nearly 9 Years

The legendary K-pop group I.O.I is returning to stage to0 celebrate their 10 years anniversary concert tour. They are stopping first in Seoul then taking it further across the border in Asia.

According to the announcement, I.O.I will kick off the ‘2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP’ with three shows in Seoul from May 29 to 31 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium.

The tour will then continue across Asia, with additional stops confirmed in Bangkok on June 6 and Hong Kong on June 20–21.

A Reunion In Nearly 9 Years

Fans are emotional and excited for this tour as it will be I.O.I’s first concert since their final performance in 2017, held during the group’s farewell show “Time Slip – I.O.I”. The new tour is designed to celebrate the group’s 10th anniversary, giving both the members and their fans a chance to reflect on their journey and create new memories together.

The Meaning Behind “LOOP”

The tour title “LOOP” symbolizes connection and continuity.

According to the organizers, the name represents the idea that a story once thought to be finished can begin again, reflecting the reunion between I.O.I and their longtime fans. Even the posters has a nostalgic feeling to it using the pastel colors and also the iconic I.O.I pink color.

I.O.I was formed in 2016 through Mnet’s survival program ‘Produce 101.’ During their short but impactful promotion period, the group produced multiple hit songs including:

  • “Dream Girls”
  • “Whatta Man”
  • “Very Very Very”

Although the group officially concluded activities in January 2017, its members have remained active in the entertainment industry through music, acting, variety shows, and solo careers.
