'2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS' Unveils a Perfectly Balanced Lineup of 17 Top, Trending and Rising Group & Solo Artists

The lineup spans top-tier acts, trending and rising artists, as well as solo performers, offering a well-rounded and diverse roster.Over the past three weeks, the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS Organizing Committee unveiled the first, second, and third lineup announcements. The final lineup features 17 acts (listed in Korean alphabetical order): RIIZE, RESCENE, xikers, IDID, ILLIT, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, EVAN, ATEEZ, NMIXX, ALLDAY PROJECT, Lim Young Woong, YENA, CORTIS, CLOSE YOUR EYES, KiiiKiii, TREASURE, and tripleS.The boy group lineup is equally impressive, ranging from ATEEZ—who mark their ninth debut anniversary this year and have firmly established themselves as a global top act—to unprecedented rookie CORTIS, which is approaching its first debut anniversary, with leading Korean boy groups filling every tier in between. The girl group lineup is just as compelling, spanning top-tier, must-listen NMIXX, uniquely distinctive ILLIT, and RESCENE, which has recently risen to sensation-level popularity. The lineup is further rounded out by mixed-gender group ALLDAY PROJECT and solo artists led by K-pop superstar Lim Young Woong.The biggest difference from the 2025 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS is the strong presence of solo artists. While last year's lineup consisted entirely of groups, this year's edition welcomes YENA, who sparked the "Catch Catch" craze; EVAN, who has reinvented himself as a solo artist after debuting with ENHYPEN; and Lim Young Woong, whose appeal spans generations. Representing completely different musical styles and fandoms, the three solo artists are expected to bring greater diversity to an awards show largely dominated by groups while appealing to a broader audience across generations.The artists' long-standing connections with the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS also stand out. YENA previously appeared at the 2020 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS as a member of IZ*ONE six years ago and will return this year as a solo artist. EVAN won the Next Leader award as a member of ENHYPEN that same year, followed by Artist of the Year in 2021 and Icon of the Year last year. This will mark his fourth appearance at the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS and his first as a solo artist. Lim Young Woong graced the awards ceremony for three consecutive years from 2021 to 2023, and this year will mark his fourth appearance.The rookie lineup is the strongest in the history of the awards. CORTIS surpassed 2 million in cumulative album sales with its debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, released in September last year, and exceeded 3 million with its second mini album REDRED, released this May. ALPHA DRIVE ONE became a million seller on the first day of release with its debut album EUPHORIA, released in January. IDID, which recorded more than 390,000 first-week album sales with its debut album released last September, is another rookie act not to be overlooked.The gathering of some of K-pop's strongest performance acts is another highlight of the 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS. The lineup includes ATEEZ, long recognized for its outstanding stage performances and most recently creating a sensation with member SAN's standout part in performances of its latest song BAD; RIIZE, which has broadened its musical spectrum across diverse genres and returned with performances embodying the spirit of youth; TREASURE, whose latest album—built around the hip-hop style the group does best—became its second consecutive million-selling release; CLOSE YOUR EYES, which blends emotional appeal with powerful energy; and xikers, renowned for its intense stage presence.ATEEZ won the Global Hottest award in 2020 and the Artist of the Year award each year from 2021 to 2023, establishing a long-standing connection with the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS. As the group returns for its fifth appearance this year, attention is focused on what honor it will receive next. RIIZE won the Next Leader award in 2023 and returns to the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS stage after three years of remarkable growth. TREASURE, the Artist of the Year winner in both 2022 and 2023, returns to the awards for the first time in three years. CLOSE YOUR EYES will appear for the second consecutive year following last year's ceremony, while xikers returns for its second appearance since 2024. The girl group lineup is every bit as strong as the boy group roster. It ranges from NMIXX, which has established itself as a must-listen group by combining its signature "MIXX POP" identity with broader public appeal through Blue Valentine last year and Heavy Serenade this year, to KiiiKiii, which rose to prominence with 404 (New Era); ILLIT, which captivated listeners with It's Me following last year's NOT CUTE ANYMORE; tripleS, often dubbed a "miracle from a small agency"; and RESCENE, which has recently become a sensation, with its music continuing to climb and remain on the digital charts. Together, they form a diverse and powerful girl group lineup.KiiiKiii, the recipient of the Next Leader award last year, will return to the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS to showcase its growth. NMIXX, after winning the Artist of the Year award in 2023 and 2025, will once again continue its association with the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS. Meanwhile, RESCENE, tripleS, and ILLIT will all be making their debut at the awards, raising anticipation for the performances they will bring to the stage.Joining them is ALLDAY PROJECT, which accepted the Next Leader award via video last year, leaving fans disappointed by its absence. This year, the group is set to perform at the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS as the awards show's first mixed-gender group.The 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS, featuring 17 acts with exceptional artistry and distinctive identities, will be held on September 19 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium in Busan, South Korea. After meeting global fans in Osaka, Japan, and Macau, China, over the past two years, the THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS will return to Korea for the first time in three years and will be held in Busan for the first time in the awards show's history.
