Cortis and Joo Si J release collaborative single 'MOTION'... Set to embark on Lollapalooza and North American tour in August

CORTIS released the digital single ″MOTION (feat. Juicy J)″ in collaboration with American hip-hop artist Juicy J on July 31 at 1 PM. This new song is a modern reinterpretation of the Memphis sound, a major branch of 1990s Southern American hip-hop, characterized by repetitive beats, addictive hooks, and unique rap flow, BigHit Music explained. The members of CORTIS participated directly in writing and composing, embedding the team’s own musical colors, and the song carries a message of moving toward a bigger stage. In particular, member Martin is known to have grown up listening to Juicy J and his hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia since childhood. Regarding this collaboration, CORTIS stated, ″Working with Juicy J was not just a simple meeting but a process of understanding and respecting each other’s music over a long time and building deep trust,″ adding, ″This song is presented with affection within a relationship that has been steadily maintained since before our debut.″ BigHit Music added, ″It is a song that respects the roots of hip-hop with the energy of Young Creative Crew (Young Crk).″ Meanwhile, CORTIS is scheduled to perform at the large music festival ″Lollapalooza Chicago″ held in Chicago, USA, on August 1 (local time). CORTIS is the only K-pop boy group included in this year’s Lollapalooza Chicago lineup. They plan to continue with the North American tour ″2026 CORTIS TOUR IN NORTH AMERICA″ from August 4 to 16.
